These are shocking statistics we think you’ll agree and Stepping Stones Luton are fighting the battle against domestic abuse and providing well-needed support for those who need it most.
Stepping Stones Luton are a vulnerable women and children’s charity, supporting local women who are experiencing domestic abuse, and/or substance misuse, and the issues that surround that, such as offending, mental health issues and poverty. The charity provides hope, skills and resources and exists to help strengthen and empower women to make better choices for themselves and their children. The estimated cost to Luton of Domestic Abuse is £21.6 million per annum.
As part of much-needed fund raising, Stepping Stones Head of Services, Nicola Panton, is doing a coast to coast cycle ride of 430 miles in 6 days, from Bordeaux to Montpellier..
